Had a wonderful day today. Went to church, got to hear the handbell choir play. They performed a new piece, one I’ve never practiced or played before. It sounded like a very difficult piece with quite a few different techniques throughout the song. They did an amazing job. I’m obviously out for the rest of the season due to having eye surgery. Recovering from my first one, hate those damn eyedrops. Anyhoo, after church we went to get something to eat, then to my dad’s house. We ate, chatted, and visited for an hour, then we all hopped in my car and we all went to see River Dance30 at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis. We had good seats to begin with, but while waiting for them to let us in, we were standing in the lobby by the concession stand, and one of the employees asked if we wanted a free upgrade to the pit. She knew where we were seated to begin with, because we asked her where we needed to go. It’s a very big place. She saw us standing waiting, so she was going around giving some free upgrades away. Of course we took it. I’m so glad we did. Since we were in the pit, we were seated in the second row from the stage. Omg. It was exciting. The River Dance performers were so excellent. They made it look so easy, though, I can’t imagine what all that does on one’s body. They were so happy performing for other people, which made their performance even better. It was nice getting my dad out and seeing him enjoy himself. Afterwards, we walked over to Gary’s for some steaks, and we scored a couple pieces of cheesecake, since my sister-in-law and her friends visit there frequently. All in all, it was a great day, dad got out and enjoyed the performance too. I’m tired and nauseous. I’ve been up since three am. I hate being an insomniac. Good night. Have a busy day tomorrow. Need to try to get a good nights sleep for once. Peace.
