It's rare that I come across a movie so good, that I want to immediately go back to chapter one, and watch it all over again.
I haven't a single complaint. Which for me, is very rare. I'm not even a Bale fan, and I loved it. Caine gave one of the best performances of his life, truly.
Aside from the marvelous cast, and the outstanding storyline, from a directorial perspective, it got 11 out of 10. Seriously. The camera angles bring a sort of closure, it allows you to connect with each character, see everything from their perspective. Even the smaller roles had so much life to them.
I am not easily fooled. I don't think I've ever sat down, watched a movie, and actually had to question the twist. There were three that caught me off guard. And by the end, I was begging for the last one. I mean, I knew it was coming, but hadn't the slightest clue what it was.
Get. This. Movie.
Now.
