So I met a women in a bar a few weeks back and we got talking and she ended up asking me to sit on an advisorery board for the creation of a 100 acre park in the city I live in. The parkland was purchased by the city to keep it from being developed but has alot of drainage problems. The reason I was asked was because I am Engineeer and could offer technical support and information on the drainage issues ( I also have walked the property and know about the issues with it). Now to make up my mind should I volunteer my time or not
A. Do your civic duty and volunteer
B. I have better stuff to do with my time |
