Ok I have an issue.
My daughters boyfriend and I had a chat...I know he is going to ask her to marry him...But he is wanting her dad's permission. And this is traditional and I can accept this ...well part of me can. The part I don't understand is her dad has been out of her life for the past 2/3 yrs cuz of his wife....He wasnt part of her life till she moved out of my house.
Now the thing is I feel he should ask me cuz I was the one that was there for her....her dad since he got married hasnt been there much....and then completly stoped 2/3 yrs ago when she was a sophmore/junior in high school
Am I right for feeling this way or should I accept it and be happy.
