i did a photoshoot for a client in the historic area of downtown today. despite my objections, she insisted that she be fully nude for this shoot. according to oklahoma law, it's legal for a female 18 years or older to be topless in public, but fully nude isn't legal.
about 5 mins after we arrived and started the shoot, 2 police officers pulled into a parking lot next to where we were. they both got out and leaned against their cars, one eating a hotdog and the other eating popcorn, which they had gotten from the hotdog cart downtown. i was worried that they would say something to us at first, but it appeared that they were just there for the show.
when we were finished with the photoshoot the police officers came over and arrested us both.....her for public nudity and me for shooting pornographic content in public.
nothing i did was illegal. i shoot art, not porn! the woman never touched herself and there was no sex act! so, i guess my question is, what do i do now? do i fight the charges or just plead guilty? |
