My daughter and her best friend tried out for a arts school for next year and today the letters came home and I opened my daughters letter and she got accepted but being that she was going to her best friends house I told her she will open it when she gets home . Now I found out her Best Friday didn't get accepted which is a bummer she wanted to go to that school but is pretended she never did her mom and I know she is hurt .. I know my daughter would want to open the letter in front of her best friend and being that I know what it says it will hurt her best friend more.

My question is should I stick to when she gets home to open it or let her open it infront of her friend
