| So I was offered a promotion at work. I would become manager of a retail store about half the size of the one I'm in now. Pluses are, a 10% increase in pay (which works out to maybe another $50 per week after taxes), a slightly easier commute as I wouldn't have to change subway trains anymore, and it would be my own store. Minuses are, more responsibility for not a lot of money, greater exposure to upper management, and the high chance of working every Saturday (Sunday off). |
