I am in the process of relocating to a new town. For various reasons - & because I NEVER make a simple process of anything (it seems) - this is going to take 3-4 months. I won't have access during this time. I'm not GONE... I'm just generally unavailable for the time being! lol

So far, I begin work tomorrow morning bright & early. I have my things (mostly) packed & I have to load up & travel today. For the next few months I'll be returning here (where I've lived for the last 18 years) every other weekend or so, to spend time with The Girls (my daughters) & the 5 lb Chi. The good side is that we can take our time sorting, discarding, giving, selling, & packing. We will spread it out over the next few months, dealing with only one box, one weekend, one week at a time. In the meanwhile, I will be Missing Them Both Like Crazy!! Once Summer arrives, though, I'll move us all to the new town, & into a place of our own. I'm looking forward to it. They are too. For now though, we just have to get through the 'meanwhile' that is Us Being Apart!

I know joy & peace, passion & power, submission & sensuality. I know pain & I know pleasure of the heart & mind & body that knows no bounds.

I love to travel & to see new sights. I love adventure. I love standing on top of the mountain looking down at the foggy smoke rolling up from below & up at the double rainbows that brighten the deep blue skies above.

I NEED to see the blue skies, the green grass, the bright stars, the rising moon, the rivers that flow, & the tides that roll in as they pound upon the beaches.

I NEED to express myself & it WILL take me 50 words when 1 will do. I know that poetry doesn't have to rhyme & I know that some rhythms are better than others!

I need to be read. I need to know that my thoughts & words are shared, appreciated, & that MAYBE they've touched someone!

I NEED to know I'm loved, wanted, needed, & desired.

From deep within my being
This is what I love,
This is what I need,
This is who I am!

When you truly look inside & truly search yourself,
Once all has been said & all has been done,
Who do you see, when you stand in the sun?
