I am having a conversation with my girlfriend and she just flat out told me she doesn't want me to drive a truck and that is what I have been working on doing for the past four years. She flat out said that when we get married she wants me to find a local job and doesn't want me to use my CDL even though that is a good way to earn a living. You make good money that way. She said she probably wouldn't leave me if I still drove a truck but she would constantly tell me she hates it. What Should I do?
Option 1: I'm the man and I make the decisions so I tell her like its gonna be. I'm gonna drive a truck and she's gonna accept it and like it and that's my final word because I'm the man.
Option 2: Tell her I will stop driving a truck because I love her and if that is what she wants then I will find some local job and live the "simple life" as she puts it. |
