I like camping or anything outdoorsy... hanging out at the lake all day, a campfire at night and good friends is an awesome combination. I love football (Go Colts!), ncaa tournament basketball, watching tennis, and even golf (go Tiger). I like smiling, dancing, love, life, laughing and hanging out with my awesome friends.
I admire intelligence in people. I enjoy a spirited debate with someone who has a brain and knows how to use it. I'm not here to argue, so don't get your panties in a knot.
I'm a big, beautiful woman, so I enjoy many BBW functions, mostly through my yahoo groups. I feel that too many BBWs feel they have to play the slut and sleep with every man they see just to feel good about themselves or to escape loneliness. WTF are they thinking? Those kind of women give the rest of us a bad name. Love yourself for who and what you are.
I have a keen interest in writing and dabble in poetry on occasion. I have so many stories floating around in my head that I long for the focus to sit and write a novel. Maybe one of these days. Perhaps a short story or two will set me on the right path.
I've always been interested in helping those less fortunate. I am normally an avid volunteer... tutoring kids, visiting nursing homes, habitat for humanity and the like. I haven't been able to volunteer as much as I used to because of things going on in my life, but working for various not-for-profit companies that help others has still allowed me to feel like I'm making a difference. I look forward to a time when I can once again resume helping out more. It is such a rewarding feeling to help someone else!

Idols
1. God. I'm fortunate that I have no doubt as to God's existence. I was blessed with an eye opening religious experience when I was 17 that left no room for doubt. Without God, none of us would be here.
2. My Mother. She is the best person I have ever known and has always been my idol. She taught me to stand up for myself, she taught me compassion for others, and she taught me independence and strength. I miss her immeasurably! I can only hope I am half the mother that she was. She was and will always be one of the strongest, truest, most beautiful influences in my life.
3. Martin Luther King Jr. I cannot think of a single person who has made more of an impact on the world. He stood up for himself and his entire race with a peaceful message of needed change. His quiet courage and insight is something to be admired by all. The changes he helped to bring about will live on forever.
4. People who stand up for themselves and those around them. I'm always one to stick up for the little guy and admire anyone who does the same.
Video Games
I don't play games in life, but I'm not above the occasional video game. I love Zelda, in all forms. I like Mario too. Nothing like some video games to escape for a while.
I miss the old time games like Galaga, Pac Man and Donkey Kong. See my blog for some oldies but goodies that you can play.
As previously stated, I don't play games in life. I'm a fairly blunt and to the point kind of lady.... so let's face it, some people just flat out don't know that the hell they're talking about and are bound to piss me off endlessly. To those, I simply say (with feeling)...
