Hireing them might cause you to lose money. If most of the people around look different from them, they might scare people away and cause you not to make more money. Is making money a justification for not hireing people due to their appearance? Even if they are highly skilled for the job, and meet the qualifications?
People use this justification for not hiring people with blue hair, or piercings, or guys with long hair. They will make less money beccause these people may scare away customers, or the customers are less likly to buy things.
Maybe your buisness in in a predominatly white communnity, and most of your customers are either afraid of black people, or are just raciest in general. If you hire a black person, then you will make less money. Using the same logic, it seems like it would be ok not to hire someone because they are black in this circumstance.
