Ok so I wanted to make a new mumm about this because it just happened and I'm bummed.
I went to that cafe that's on the way to the heated pool I go to (the heater isn't working well today, I may ask for my money back) and the girl I have a crush on was there. I ordered my flat white and went upstairs to go on my laptop and enjoy it.
SHE came up to me after and asked if I have plans for Easter, and we started talking. I made some slick comments about how I'm a Jew and don't enjoy it cause our holidays suck, and we got to talking about coffee and how she learns about it on Instagram. I definitely know more about coffee than her btw, she sometimes makes the coffee here but said her hands shake when she has to pour latte art so they keep her on cash.
Anyway, I saw the IG mention as an opening so I asked if I can add her and I'll show her some barista skills. She goes 'oh...well it's mostly just my dogs on there, but sure, you can add me'. so I did.
we speak a bit more after and discuss dogs and cats and she mentions a boyfriend in passing.
WTF? Why did she initiate the conversation today then? Girls just want to be my friend, nobody wants to date me. I'll never find anyone, I'm just going to get a golden retriever and call it a day. |
