My friend and I had a discussion about shopping today. I am a compulsive shopper, I shop whenever I get a chance and am addicted to shopping. I recently have benn going through a rough and emotional depression. My friend thinks that I shop because it makes me feel happy about myself. But I never thought of it like that....I think I just like to shop. She thinks that when I am not soo depresssed I will not splurge as much and go on shopping binges....
What is your opinion,
a. Am I subconsciously shopping becuase it makes me feel better about myself kind of like I'm self medicating.... or
b. Do I shop becuase I just like it a lot???? |
