A friend of mine has been constantly calling and texting about her numerous bf issues.
Sure,I'm relegated to the "the nice go to guy status" or rather proverbial big shoulder to cry on.
Now a little back story. I've known this gal for ever. Me and her are hang out buddies and a have a decent friendship. But as of late it's nothing but non stop cavalcade of " I called my bf 25 times and he doesn't respond" OR " I drove past his house a few times" etc,etc.
I think she's venturing into - Glenn Close boiling rabbit territory (ie Fatal Attraction). So it's getting a bit scary.....
So my fubarian friends, how would you handle this situation? Sit there (on the phone or at the bar with her) and listen to her prater on about the object of her obsession or tell her straight up...1. enough with the bf talk and 2. move up and on. |
