| WOW! So I can't help but feel a little guilty but then again I think it was a smart move. I had been toying with the idea of ordering my groceries online for a while and then just going to pick it up. After all I work in retail and deal with shoppers all day long and the LAST thing I want to do on days off or when I get off of work is to go grocery shopping. So, today, 2 days before Christmas, my day off, that's what I did. I got on the website on one of the grocery stores that offered it, did my shopping list placed the time I wanted to pick it up and sent it. Four hours later, after I did the dinner over at my parents, I went to the Grocery store, first, the parking lot was packed, as expected, the inside wasn't any better, I walked up to the customer service desk, waited maybe 10 min as they gathered my frozen and refrigerated stuff and I was out the door with my stuff. I've got everything I need for my Christmas meal and didn't have to deal with the lines or walking around the whole store to find the stuff. YAY me!! So my question is, should I do this on a regular basis, order my list and plan for pick up when I get off work? |
