DJ Sadistic Dragon @ Gods Forsaken Radio Sadistic Dragon has been influenced by metal since he was a child. He finds comfort in heavy riffs and loud bass since he is a bassist. His favorite bands are Fear Factory, Helmet, Tool, Judas Priest, Lamb of God. The reason he likes being a DJ is to make your ears cum. DJ Ruiner @ Gods Forsaken Radio Ruiner is influenced by Dimebag, is the reason Why he picked up a guitar, his crazy ass family, his crazy ass family here @ godsforsaken radio, and his baby cynthia. His favorite bands are Pantera, Slayer ,5FDP, Tool, and Slipknot. The reason he likes being a DJ is his brain is full of thoughts and ideas, in an effort to reassure himself that he is not insane, he brings them forth to the masses, if he ruins a few minds along the way....so be it. DJ Metal Queen @ Gods Forsaken Radio Metal Queen is influenced by many extremely talented guitarists, yet her all time favorite is Randy Rhoads. She is a guitar nut. Her favorite bands are Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Black Sabbath, AC/DC. The reason she likes being a DJ is she loves being able to bring people joy through music. There is so much metal out there that the world hasn't heard yet, so she is always constantly searching for new bands. DJ Ground Zero @ Gods Forsaken Radio Ground Zero is the owner and creator of Gods Forsaken Radio. He has been influenced from a very early age, in everything heavy metal. From the age of 13 he remembers having at least 13 Iron Maiden cassette albums. Heavy metal has always been a source of expression and release for him. His top favorite bands are Tool, Slayer, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, and SlipKnot. The reason he likes being a DJ is to crack skulls open with metal and expand metal consciousness. Gods Forsaken Featured Band: Skull Hammer Skull Hammer is out of Framingham, Massachusetts. They are an unsigned band. The band members are Steve, Geoff and Matt. They listen to and appreciate a wide array of music from all different genres and musical styles. The band was formed in 2007 with the intent of creating powerful, original, heavy music with no musical boundaries or limitations. The band worked hard thru early 2008 at writing and practicing new material including: Demons Roulette, Born Evil, Polar Decimation, Fear the Truth, Souls Sold Long Ago, Balls to the Bone and reworked versions of some Lethal Fury classics like Blasphemy and Gladiator. Late April 2008 the band entered the recording studio to begin work on their 1st 4 song CD "Fear the Truth" including : Demons Roulette, Fear the Truth, Polar Decimation and Souls Sold Long Ago. Gods Forsaken Featured Band: Dragonwyck If you're looking for a band that makes brutal, heavy, thrashing, good music that will make your ear's bleed then one band that you'll no doubt want to check out is Ohio's own Dragonwyck. They are one band who's music has the power and intensity to give Metallica a run for their money. The band members are Kenny, Tony, Nick and Michael. They have a record label with Nightmare Records and Distro. Their latest release Born into Madness, the songs are all very well written, and are very heavy, brutal, and just so intense that by the time you get to the last song on this 10 track CD you can't believe that the music has come to an end. This band leaves anyone who listens to this CD wanting more and more. Dragonwyck's sound is very original and I must say they really do have a sound that is all their own. With song titles like "Bag Of Bones" , "Dig Into Me" , and "Spitting Nails", how the hell can you go wrong. They just might be the next big thing in the world of Thrash Metal so don't say you weren't warned because Dragonwyck just might rule the Metal world one day real soon! Gods Forsaken Featured Band: Yigaels Wall Yigaels Wall is out of San Francisco, California. The band has a record label with Reign Recordings. The band members are John, Vincent, Jan and Dan. Their debut album is Requiem For the Living. They have a new album coming soon, Emperor Castrato. Yigael's Wall plays thrash, but with an updated modern edge that keeps things from residing in the realm of mere oldschool worship, with a grinding, dirty guitar tone, thundering rhythm section, and savagely growled vocals. Of course, none of this would be meaningful if there wasn't quality songwriting to back it up. The Bay Area-flavored riffs have a bit of modern edge to them and vary nicely between midpaced and high-speed sections, while the long, melodic solos add an early '80s flair that helps change things up. Gods Forsaken Featured Band: Waking Lies Waking Lies is out of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Waking Lies is unsigned. FIRST OFF this is NOT A BAND it is A SOLO PROJECT!!!!!! Alan has a vision for his work that no one else shares locally. So thats why he is doing this. Don't get him wrong he enjoys being in bands but he is sick of all the lies, drama, and lack of commitment from others. He hopes you enjoy the music he creates. Alan is currently working on his Full SOLO RELEASE!!!! "The Fall Of Freedom". He plans on a good 13 to 15 song full CD to release for your enjoyment. Gods Forsaken Featured Band: Handful Of Rain Handful Of Rain is out of Cadiz, Spain. The band was formed in 2005 by Tini, Niko, Jaime, and David. Their music takes on the essence of hard rock. Their influences are Bon Jovi, Skid Row, Mr. Big, Guns..N..Roses. Five of their songs were recorded in Josema Dalton studios, “La Factoría”. The band reached Don Dokken, and he put the tracks on Wyn Davis hands who has mixed successfully these five songs. The songs are mixed by Wyn Davis (Dokken,Dio,John Norum,Great White) in the All Access Studios in Redondo Beach, California. These five songs will be included in the first bands demo with which they wish to launch his music all around the world. The band played with Sebastian Bach (Skid Row), Great White, House of Lords, Tesla, Bonfire, Y & T (Yesterday & Today) and great spanish bands as Soziedad Alkoholika, Silverfist, Parking Fox and Skizoo.
