Join Blingo, Dammit :)

Although I've been a Blingo fan for quite a while now, I've not gotten any signups. So, allow me to tell you about this wonderful place. Blingo is a search enging that uses Google's results - searching Blingo is the same as searching Google, the best engine on the web IMNSHO. So, why not just use Google then? Because you can't win stuff at Google. Every day, almost every hour, Blingo gives out prizes in the form of movie tickets, iPod downloads, even cash and gift certificates, just for searching using their interface. So, it's not only useful, and free, but you might get a prize! When you sign up as a friend at Blingo, should you win a prize, I also win that same prize. Therefore, all of you should sign up and use Blingo when you search, because I like free stuff. :) You should also get your own friends signed up, since if they happen to win something, you'll win the same thing. Nifty, eh? Now do it. Don't make me come over there.

Good News

Well, the housemate and I had a chat, and it works out that I don't have to move after all. I guess there some some things irritating him outside of the money, and some misunderstandings as well. Yay. That's a load off. Now maybe I can get some writing done. Still, I do plan to move into a different place eventually. On my own terms, in my own time, and under my own power. I'm really not big on the whole housemate thing. Rather have my own space. At least the panic is off.

New Article on AC!

Funny how the timing of things can happen. Here I am, down in the mouth because of the aforementioned situation, and lo, my new article appears: "Staying Young at Heart: How to Keep a Youthful Attitude". Gotta love the irony. Or, it's a subtile reminder that I should follow my own good advice. Either way, read and enjoy - and don't forget to vote!
When I moved to Baltimore, I was intending to move to Washington DC. We had a bit over $1000 and figured we wouldn't have much trouble landing a place and jobs. Six weeks later, after exhausing all our money and having family and friends send more, we get into a place. We were there all of six weeks - then get thrown out because the folks leasing the house violated the lease and didn't tell us. We end up in Baltimore, moving in with an aquaintance the GF had made a couple of weeks previous. Got settled with jobs and started catching up on rent here - it's not much, but the GF is away at college so I'm having to do it alone. Well, here I am, a month or so away from actually getting caught up, and the housemate tells me I have to move out at the end of the month, no further reason given. Now I'm back to square one. He expects his back money, of course, plus I also have to get cash together to move into somewhere else - I'm only one guy who brings home 350-400 a week, tops. I'm SO unhappy. I just want my little life. Work my job, play internet games, write my ass off. That's all. This makes my third move in six months, and I can't even afford it. I can't even write. I don't get sad much, but this pretty much takes the cake.

No Fun For Ghosty

Between a full work schedule (thanks to the upcoming election) and some writing gigs I have to attend to, I can't be here as much as I'd like right now. It's temporary; I have three new articles waiting up at AC, and I should be hanging out over the weekend. Just letting you know I'm not dead, but merely overburdened. :(

Sex

[This was first published in January, 2003.] Our tryst began in playful exploration, gentle caresses and kisses explore new terrains and textures. Her skin was soft, silky, tasting musky sweet as my tongue darted across her neck, her breasts, her belly. She turned and savored me as I probed with longing lips and quivering anticipation for secrets deep and hot. The girl sighed, moaned; we clutched as she exploded, my own selfishness thrusting into her beckoning countenance. She tasted the reward of my desperate act and discovered she wanted more, not letting me rest or recoup but engulfing me before I could recover. I lay and enjoyed her passion, a willing slave to my lasting desires. Fair-play gave way to her own need as she craved the weight of my body, pulled me down upon her, did nothing to allow retreat when my moment of truth suddenly arrived. She took it willingly, abandoning all sense to fulfill my self-centered and cruel want; I held her down and filled her with my desperation as she pulled me in, an insistent vessel offering no resistance and no escape. Again and again we repeated our purposes, bringing each other to points of no return. At last we could take no more; over-sensitized, wearied, sore, we lay bathed in sweat and cum and warmth, playing and laughing without second thought or consideration of consequence. Soon want and need again ripped through pretense as we again forced ourselves upon the cravings of the other's flesh. We sacrificed, we consumed, we took and gave and took again. Our twin flames made all the other had to offer a wild sex-fuel for the continued heat of the moment. We loved and made a meal of the other; such a feast I had never had. At last, we arrived at our goodbyes. I left her hurriedly, not wanting to perceive the wonder that I had beheld only an hour before take its leave. She made her voyage home, where familiar and less tumultuous fires burned in waiting, while my own embers screamed for replenishment of what I had consumed so hastily. I reflected on the night's depravity, and how once I was a man impressed with displays of technique and intelligence, willing to perform self-sacrifice to witness what now appears to have been superficial beauty and artificial grace. The truth burns! I am not an admirer of refinery and disposition, but one of a pair of exquisitely untamed animals, each the object of a glorious killing on the plains of the heart. We had swept in, snarled sinister knowing smiles, and in our lustful quest for love and blood and cum willingly sank our glistening claws into the other, again and again, both prey and panther. I loved it, craved it even as her carriage pulled away. We shall not partake of that fire again, my love; we shall never rule those once-empty plains. Our world will succumb to no eternal flame.

20 Freakin' Questions

OK, so after a couple of days away from this place (and two articles finished and in the wings at AC), I logged on and decided to go down the WHOLE DAMN FRIENDS LIST, dropping greetz and love as I went like some demented Johnny Appleseed. And, why not? Anyway, this is WAY different than real life. In that (probably non-existant) world, I have very few friends. Very few, and I like it that way. The actual friends I have are ones I've had for years. Someone, I forget who, sent this 20 questions bulletin out to all their friends and so forth, and I thought that was a very good idea. I want to know something about all these people attached to my profile on LC. So, I'll send that out later. Look for it. Don't make me come over there. :P
Just a fast note from an Internet cafe around the corner from work ... I have a new article on Halloween posted at AC, and I'd appreciate it, if you enjoyed the piece, to please vote for it (use the stars up by my picture). Thanks - I'm up to my eyeballs in two new articles coming out soon, so stay tuned, I'll be back in the swing soon. Halloween: For Kids And Adults, Right?
The blast I sent out, in my opinion, was a huge success. Tons (TONS!) of new friends, and lots of very cool people to meet. In fact, there's so many that it will take me a good while to go through you all and really see what you're about. Everyone is interesting in one way or another, so it's important and I'll get to it. For now, however, I need to spend some serious time writing. I had my next piece approved up at AC, an article about Halloween (appropriate, no?), and I'll post that link as soon as it's available. Should be a day or two. I have much more to write. I'm working on at least two more bits for AC, plus I need to catch up on my other blogs as well. I'll be away from here for a day or two, but that's all. In the meantime, allow me the privilage of inviting you to AC. If you're a writer and you want to see a little monetary compensation for your work, I can't say enough about this place. It costs you nothing, there's a great forum of folks who can give you advice, and they use PayPal to pay you so you'll get your cash quickly. Here's the link. Meanwhile, back to work for me.
