THEN I'm from Northern Michigan, but I've spent most of my life traveling from state to state. I recently moved to Portland, Oregon, and immediately fell in love with the area. Unfortunately, due to family illness, etc., I had to leave after only six months, and now I'm spending the summer back in MI, visiting my grandfather while I still have the chance. I like to joke around a lot, and I pretty much flirt constantly. I love to read, usually classic lit, and once I can settle in Portland again I plan on studying journalism and photograpy. My goal is to get into freelance journalism, which will afford me the opportunity to travel around the world, visiting interesting places, meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, and being paid to enrich my life. I'm also a big fan of music,(especially punk, metal, and classic rock)and I played bass and guitar before an accident in the press factory I worked in messed up my left hand, leaving me unable to work the fretboard for more than a half hour at a time. Now I spend most of my free time reading, writing, going to concerts, swimming, hiking, drinking, and hanging out with friends. I'm VERY random, and I'll pretty much try anything, as long as it's interesting. I'm very outspoken, but seldom rude, unless you act like an asshole.I'm here more for amusement than ratings, but I do rate pics and profiles, when I'm bored.

NOW I went back to Michigan and spent one last summer with gramps. While I was there I met a girl, got her pregnant, decided we might be in love, and we moved back to Portland to start a family. Everything was great, we didn't have much, but it was ours and we loved it. I worked 14 to 16 hours a day and I didn't care. My grandfather died and my daughter was born. Things were great. Up until my daughter was three months old things were great. Things started to fall apart. We stopped having sex. We stopped talking. I started sleeping on my couch a lot. I worked and I came home and I cooked and cleaned and played with Ada. I cheated. In September She informed me that she had bought a plane ticket and sent the remainder of our money to her mom in Michigan. She left. With my daughter. My dreams died. I have a good job that I love, and I enjoy it. I had a girlfriend for a while, but she dumped me on my birthday. I'm pretty much just sitting here, waiting, drinking through life. I don't care.

Interests
My beautiful daughter, Ada Therese, the light of my life. Music. I play bass and guitar, and I write songs for fun.My other main loves are reading and writing. Mostly classic lit, like Hemmingway, Faulkner, Dostoyevski, etc., but my hero and inspiration is always going to be Hunter S. Thompson. Perhaps when I have hours to waste I'll say more, but that's all that counts.

I love music. MAD music. I'm a big punk fan from way back. Sex Pistols, Aus Rotten, GBH, MOD, SOD, Screaming Bloody Leper Children, The Ramones, The Distillers, Rancid, Dropkick Murpheys, Lars and the Bastards, Horrorpops, The boys, Exploited, UK Subs, Anti Nowhere League, Butt Trumpet... I could go on forever. Nirvana is the band that got me into music, so I LOVE them.
