My dieting is working (if you remember that mummm from way back when) but I'd like to augment that with something other than every other day walking.
I goto a gym daily. Well, actually that's not true I drive past one a lot and I haven't been on my treadmill for weeks. 572 weeks - that's 11 years. So what I'm trying to say is I'm not much for the whole "traditional" work out routine.
Plus the local gym is chock filled with some serious narcissistic people (aka muscle heads). I'm more of the Richard Lewis/George Costanza type (eshh).
So other than walking...or maybe the occasional dirt path stroll...what's a good form of exercise? I love bike riding but around these here parts people (and I'm looking at you blue haired grannies driving huge oldsmobiles) is playing russian roulette with your life (and huffy).
I read that swimming is a great way to exercise but I'm self conscious about my shape. Yea I use the time honored lie that us chubby people use - "I'd take off my shirt when swimming but i'm allergic to the sun." It works trust me but I don't believe i can pull it off by going to a indoor pool.
