A water heater “Took off” because of the thermostat malfunctioned causing the water inside to overheat. The water heater left the basement traveling through the 1st floor, the roof, and another 150 feet into the air before coming back down. (This incident happened in St. Paul in 1991 don’t ask me what made me think of this story, but I think It would have been quit a site, (lmao)

Beautiful Country in the Minnesota River Valley. Winter Driving 101: When in a skid turn your wheel toward the skid; but do it gently, until you get a feel for the road conditions. They may very greatly, so be careful! NEVER press hard on the breaks! better yet don't even use them it if you have to. It is a guarantee you will be in the ditch, or in an accident!! Note: If you are driving too fast not anticipating on how far you need to stop or slow down to make a turn, you're S.O.L.!!! (I think the "turn toward the slide" technique works best on rear-wheel driven vehicles)
