The family dog decided last night to try and dig his way out of the front door destroying the floor (house is a rental). He did this back when I lived in NC and tore up a wall and couch at my other house. Timba was a Christmas present to my now ex boyfriend and my kids. I am the one who cleans, feeds, and is responsible for Timba now even though that was not original intent. My problem is my job requires me to be away for long periods of time where I can not take Timba with me. The ex won't watch him and the kids are gone to school or at their dad's while I am at my job. I can't afford to board him. My aunt has offered to take him rather than me put him back into a shelter. I am torn. Should I hope this was a one time thing given the situation or call my aunt and say we are bringing Timba to live with you?
BTW - there was someone who checked in on him several times and I made sure Timba had access to get outside to do his business plus food and water. I was gone a bit more than 24 hrs. |
