So I've noticed lately, not just on here but in general, that many people who don't necessarily believe in anything as far as religion goes are quick to defend their beliefs or lack thereof and make no apologies about it. Not that they should. BUT....
I've also seen that some people, especially Christians, are hesitant, apologetic and almost embarassed to voice their beliefs.
I was just wondering why do you think some people these days won't voice their beliefs? Is it because they're afraid of their beliefs being ridiculed? Afraid of offending someone? Or is it something else?
***I am not bashing or criticizing any religion or belief system. It's just something I noticed that made me curious. |
