For my friends and fans out there, mom is HOME! They discharged her late yesterday and I will be staying the night with her 3 nights a week. The night nurse 2 and my brother on weekends. Word to the wise, my brother and I promised this woman she would never be in a home when we wre kids. We are fulfilling that promise! It can be done. She is doing as well to be expected and two little boys(us) are glad to have the greatest woman in the world back home...We love ya momma!

Just wanted to say thanks to all my friends and fans on Cherry Tap. You guys have been great about my mom. Well, we had to install stints in her liver again because they got stopped up, hence where all or most of the fluid developed. Shes a LOT more comfortable now. I have no idea what direction her health will go, but she is better than she was for now. I appreciate all your prayers and promise to keep you informed as things develop. Hey gang! It's been a busy week! Saturday night Eddie Money was in OKC. My brother called me up and said after visiting mom in the hospital that he wanted to see him. Little story here...First of all, my brother and I have such busy schedules, that it was our FIRST time together at a concert, so KUDO's to us! Second, we have tried to see him SIX different times over our lives only to be denied because of conflicting schedules and work! The show was great and "The Money Man" did not disappoint. He also sang a song with his daughter-"Take Me Home Tonight, " and they were fabulous. Eddie is grayer now, but his voice was still great and did everything his catalog held. Afterwards, he signed autigraphs at the booth and YES, Kat Daddy got to visit Eddie himself!

As you all are aware of, my mother is back in the hospital. After the concert, I dropped in and visted with her. She still is fighting. When I originally checked her back in, she looked as she was pregnant. The tumor in her liver has grown that much. We weighed her at 189lbs! Since then, we drained the fluid and she weighed in at 168lbs...it's killing me to see the most couragous, loving woman in the world suffering like this. Shes in pain all the time now. She was pleading with me, begging, to be comfortable, to make the pain stop....and I can't do a damn thing except to kiss her, hold her hand and tell her how much I love her. As a favor, PLEASE, rate this blog, and comment with your needed prayer. PLEASE. Thank you to all who have gone through this with me and been absolute prayer warriors. She deserves your help. Last night me and a friend went to see Ms. Stevie Nicks at the ZOO Ampitheater in OKC. It had been a life long dream to see her in person and I finally got to go. It seems I was either sick or I had to work. Chris Issak opened and did a 1 hour and 20 minute show that never stopped! He was fabulous and if you have never seen him live, your cheating yourself! Stevie opened up with Stand back and of course, the place erupted! The whole place was lit up like a Christmas tree, lol! I had heard some reviews that were less than favorable, ie voice gone, etc. However, her voice was great and pitch perfect. Not bad for 59 years old. SHe performed anything from "Golddust Woman" to "Seventeen" and the band was really fantastic, they did not disappoint in the least. Two things, her show was 1 hour 40 minutes long and she did not perform a lot of songs. She merely played SEVERAL at length. That was a terrible diappointment for me after waiting so long to see her. For example, No "Gypsy", "I'll Wait" etc. The Crystal Visions Album is a compilation of her TOTAL history including Fleetwood Mac. Unfortunately, this showe DOES NOT represent that well at all. Well, thats my review for you Stevie fans! Note to all fans-DON'T MISS THIS CONCERT! It was still worth it! XOXO

I'm back from being away to a friends families funeral today. I read my cards and well-wishes and from the bottom of my heart I wanted to thank all of you sincerely. You absolutely have been wonderful about it all. That kind of support will always reinstate faith in mankind. Again, may thanks and I will continue to rate, comment and SUPPORT my Cherry Tap friends. Just to let y'all know, I appreciate all the compliments and talks and rates. But don't get on here and piss down my back and tell me it's raining. In other words, ladies, QUIT TRYIN' TO PLAY ME. It's not my first rodeo people, so don't get on here and think Im another one of the guys you meet and think I'm gonna buy what you're selling them. I'm a lot more intelligent than that, so please don't insult my intelligence. Ive always tried to treat people with respect. Please do the same.

Just to let everyone know, a very dear friend lost their Father the other day. He was a super human being and it was a true honor to know this man. He was married for 53 years, had 22 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a very honorable man. I will not be online Friday, May 25th to chat. I will be with my friend to bury his father. Just wanted to apologize to my friends as of late. I have been gone awhile because I had been in a major car accident and just now getting around.
