| My ex and I have shared custody of our children. We each have the kids every other year. Well this year is my ex's turn. He recently got engaged over Christmas. The problem is she and my 9 year old daughter do not get along at all. I know me being the mom I am going to side with my daughter a lot but this woman really has no clue about raising children. When speaking with my daughter one evening she told me that she was upset because she was not allowed to eat dinner yet when everyone else had. Mind you it was 7:30pm and they ate at5pm. I asked her why and it was because she had not folded her clothes. WTF? They have her washing, drying, folding, and putting away her own clothes. A little much for her age. Anyway they have asked me to come stay a week because they just bought a new house and they need me to help watch my babies and "Get bryanna's attitude in check" quote my ex. I have agreed. But I am afraid its going to turn into a huge fight there when this girl goes to say something to my daughter. Should I stay out of it and try again talking to his fiance or get into a cat fight when my daughter is not looking? |
