I sing.
Had a couple decent rockbands in my twenties, but life decided a different route for me, other than a rockstar.
My friends have been pushing me to enter some bigger karaoke contests, in the hopes that I will get noticed.
Medical problems have severely lessened my range, making it harder for me to survive entire sets of hardcore rock vocals.
Country music suites my voice (and my age) better, so I have been writing and singing that more often.
should I:
A> stick to rock, and keep workin my vocal chords back into their former glory??
or
B> jump into the country realm, and hope to get noticed for BOTH my singing and song writing abilities??
btw: this is NOT a poll on who likes/dislikes country music!! |
