Recently I've been told by a few guys, including someone I was involved with for quite some time, that they couldn't get serious with me because of my disability. Well not really my disability but the fact that because I'm disabled, even though I am healthy right now, I might not have a typical life span (the oldest people I know with my disability are in their 40s-50s).
Could you get involved with someone, make long-term plans with them knowing that they for whatever reason MIGHT not have a "normal" life span? Would you be able to live for today or would you always be worried about losing them? |
