I always thought chicken wings, like the thighs and legs, were considered dark meat.
I have since been informed that wings, like the breasts, are actually considered white meat.
It all has to do with domesticated chickens not utilizing the wing muscles as much to fly, or so I was told by those from the "white meat" camp.
