A lot of people it seems have difficulty completing the Cherry Inferno achievement. Most fail for one simple reason:

They waste too much time refreshing the browser window between bombs while waiting for 30 seconds to elapse.

Even 2-3 seconds lost can be compounded over the course of an hour and result in several minutes/bombs lost as a result of repeated refreshing of the browser window. Below are a couple tips I found useful to avoid this.

• Prepare yourself 
  • Turn off the shoutbox and eliminate any distractions for the next hour
  • Close all unnecessary browser windows or applications to improve performance of your computer.
    • I have no more than 2 browser windows (windows not tabs in the same window) open at any time.
      • 1 window for the list of people I will be bombing
      • 2nd for the person i'm currently bombing 
      • Place the windows side-by-side and drag links from the first window (with your list of people to bomb) over to the second window to open them in that window. Note: you can use the Photos (xxxx) link on their tooltip popup to access their pictures directly to avoid time wasted visiting their main profile page if you prefer.
• Use a Stop Watch!
  • Use a stop watch to time 30 second intervals between bombs. Most phones will have a stop watch function on the clock app so it shouldn't be too hard to find one. 
  • The 60 minute timer starts when you have bombed the first person not when you activate the Cherry Bomb. So start the stop watch immediately upon clicking the first bomb link.
  • Use the stop watch to time out 30 seconds between bombs. You should be bombing on 30 second inervals (:00 and :30)
  • Dont fret if you're a couple seconds late on one. The Cherry Inferno can still be completed even if you're as much as 2 minutes off your mark. Just remember to adjust your timer for subsequent bombs. i.e. if you're 4 seconds late on one bomb adjust your timer to bomb on :04 and :34 for the remainder.
• Only bomb MEMBERS that have been bombed in the past 24 hours. This is important and i'll explain why in the next step.
  • The best way to find a large list of people that have been bombed recently is to use the Hottest Dudes/Chicks page. Chances are good that all of the top 115 "Chicks" have been bombed recently so that will provide you with a quick list to reference as you start your bomb run. 
  • You could try the Top Dudes list but there's a greater chance that some may not have been bombed recently (guys get no love on Fu afterall). Do a quick spot check at every 10-15 positions in the Top 115 to ensure they've been bombed recently (see the next step to see how you can check) to make sure before you start your bomb run.
• Only bomb FOLDERS that have been bombed recently in the past 24 hours. This step is important to completing the Cherry Inferno!
  • You can identify recently bombed folders by the animated icon next to their folder name. The different Folder Icons are shown below for reference:
    •  Recently Bombed Folder. ONLY bomb these folders!
    •  Normal Folder
  • This step is important because folders that have been bombed in the past 24 hours will immediately display the "Cherry Bomb This Folder" link irregardless of how much time has actually passed since the last bomb.
    • Normal folders will not display this link and you'll have to waste valuable time refreshing the window before the link to bomb the folder will be displayed.
  • Then it's only a matter of waiting out 30 seconds to pass on the stop watch and then clicking the bomb link. 
    • Note that clicking the bomb link early will give you the message that you must wait x seconds more. You'll lose valuable time refreshing the window if that happens so it's very important to use the stop watch here to time it correctly.
