I am 43 years old, I have 2 teenage children, and as of the end of this month I will FINALLY be divorced! I live with my best friend Courtney in White Lake. She has two beautiful children and our friendship is the most amazing thing in the world. I recently left a house full of great roommates in Mt. Clemens,and the people who I met through my friends there are pretty amazing people too. I am Pagan, I love camping at Pagan events during the summer, and drumming and dancing around bonfires all night. I smoke and drink but I rarely drink a lot, at my age I'd rather have fun by staying more clear-headed. If I make a fool out of myself, I'll do it on purpose. Courtney and I often go out with a group of friends to do Karaoke at a few local places, and I love to sing! I am an awesome friend--my children and my friends are my life and I am completely devoted to my people. I love long conversations, quite nights at home, and spontaneous gatherings. I can be a little shy and reserved but only because it horrifies me to disrespect or offend people so I open up all the way only around people who I already know will forgive me if I act like an ass. I have a unique personality with a strong blend of masculine and feminine characteristics. The people I love have called me thinks like, "the gay dad I never had" and "a really good wife". I'm not really gay but I can come across that way, especially when I'm being myself, and I take all of those names as genuine compliments. I am a good listener, very sensitive and intuitive about people's feelings, and people who meet me tend to open up to me quickly. I often hear things from people I've only known a short time such as, "You know, I hardly ever tell people this..." or "I haven't even told my best friend of 10 years this about myself, but..." and I think that is the highest honor anyone could pay me. I have a good sense of humor--respectful but very silly and kind of intellectually-oriented with plays on words and concepts. I am a Scorpio, deep and emotional and sometimes very insecure. I am a giver who has a hard time asking people to meet my own needs. I am gentle and kind, and I love music and art, good films and some really lousy ones. I don't like TV. I was an obsessive reader growing up but my eyes aren't what they used to be and they tire easily. I'd rather feed the baby or give my friend a foot massage or do a few loads of laundry than spend time by myself with a book. I guess I'll try to upload some images that represent my life, and maybe I'll think of more to add later.
