Interests
I've been an electrician and a musician for over twenty years. I tried getting back to school (DeVry for electronics engineering and West LA Community for stage sound and lighting), but at this point I'm getting into the import/export trade with a couple of my brothers. I'm really big on the mountains (as long as they're north of Kern, or in another state) and the beach, and though I've been here since i was twelve - I despise the desert. Most recently I've discovered fubar and fumafia, liking it more every day. Cheers to all my fellow fubar mates, and to all you would be/ wanna be gangsters on fumafia - watch out!
Music
Into a bit of everything, but mostly it has to have good energy. A punk rocker at heart, I like bands like the Dead Kennedies and FEAR to newer punk such as NOFX, the Hunns. . .Some favorites for the mainstream element: Slayer, the f#$@ing best metal band ever - Tool, Primus, the Beasties, older Korn, - the other end of my musical realm: Bob Marley, the Specials, . Lovin me some Cheryl Crow, the Beasties, NIN, Send More Paramedics, GWAR, Supersuckers (Eddie!!!), D.I., Turbonegro, The Misfits, Flamethrower, all my brothers from the Tequila Hounds, Deftones, gotta give a shout out to rebel country: All Hanks, Hellbound Glory, Rebel Son. . .There's the classics: Led Zeppelin, I could really go on forever, but I won't.
Movies
Where to begin. . . Anything gangster (The Godfather, Scarface, Pulp Fiction, Carlito's Way, etc.), anything horror (most specifically zombie flix, eg. Dawn of the Dead, Evil Dead, Dead Alive) and then science-fiction and science-fiction/horror (Star Wars, of course, Alien - not forgetting the predator, Captain Kirk and the Enterprise were always entertaining, Event Horizon), James Cameron does no wrong. If they come at a certain quality, I likes me some vampires - Dracula (Bram Stoker), Interview, Underworld, Lost Boys. I'll even do chick flix, but there's gotta be at least one, physical female involved.
