Okay, my son joined the National Guard, fine.
He gonna drive a truck... cool.
He will probably get sent to Iraq, shit happens.
His wife and I talked and she was saying that if he goes over, he wont be in much danger, he gonna be driving truck....
I gave her the facts... you know, IED's go boom, truck goes into itty bitty pieces and driver meets maker or loses various parts of his or her body.
Son came out to pay me some money he owes me, gave me a rash of crap bout upsetting my daughter in law so close to her due date.
I said he should have told her the truth.
Was I wrong to be honest with daughter in law, and let her believe that nothing could happen to my son?
Or should I have kept my mouth shut and said nothing?
