Yesterday, I was told I was handsome. I strongly resisted the urge to do what I usually do - look down at my gut and say, "Okay, no, but thanks!"
Three different ladies told me that. Now, I had always looked at a woman's face and decided if she was pretty or not, and her heart/soul/mind to decide if I thought she was beautiful. But it seems women see a nice face but don't say he's "handsome" or "yummy" or whatever unless he's buff and tan. And guys seem to think that she has to resemble a Playboy model to think she's pretty.
