My brother and his girlfriend are expecting their first child together in October. Seeing as how I'm 33 and still don't have any kids, I'm beginning to think I never will. Needless to say, I've been going nuts with the baby clothes shopping.
The problem is, I'm buying clothes that I'd like to see MY child wear (if I had one). The cutest little band t-shirts, jumpers with cute little pink skulls... typically stuff you could find at Hot Topic because there aren't any stores like that at home (Ontario, Canada)
My question is; Is it wrong for me to buy clothes that I like - being as how it's not my child?
I was told by someone that I was "Pushing my fashion sense onto an innocent child".
If my brother and his girlfriend don't mind, why should anyone else? |
