AUTISM AWARENSS
I'm still learning about autism. I have 5 kids, two of which are diagnosed with having autism. Anyone have any stories to share? My 10yr old didn't starting learning to speak until after he turned 3yrs old. My 4 1/2yr old daughter really doesn't talk at all other than a word here and a word there. She knows some sign language and was showing very similar mannerisms that my 10yr old did at around 2yrs, and that's how I suspected she was autistic too. They both are very high-functioning however.
