Been in upstate NY, before that lived in Philly, SC, DE, PA, Philadelphia and NJ. Been asked if I have Gypsy blood in me. Sure do, moved 36 times.....and I'm doing it again.

Doing a lot of writing when I have the energy and time to do it. My PC is loaded with songs that are waiting to be recorded. Been doing a lot of research on a music history book I've always wanted to do. That plus another on band stories. That one has been a riot....some weird stuff happened....A LOT
Been retired the last two years. On disability due to my family's gene pool. Thanks to taking REALLY good care of myself, I've gone from being totally laid up to being able to move around. I'm not jogging.....yet. I have been able to play drums at short intervals, I refuse to give in.


Been playing drums for 50 years, even have a degree that says I might know what I'm doing. I also sing in bands and tinker around with bass and keyboards. I've been pretty lucky as far as playing. I've literally played over 3500 gigs in my lifetime. Recorded on several CDs, played blues and regular festivals up and down the east coast. Played gigs with former members of the Marshall Tucker Band and Steve Miller Band, even shared a bill with Artimus Pyle, drummer from Lynyrd Skynyrd. I've met and am friends with a bunch of great musicians and 80s rock stars. Used to do the same circuit as them, they got lucky, couldn't be happier for them. Used to run a successful blues jam in Columbia SC for 3 years. All that effort was recognized when I was included in a book about SC blues history. That was pretty cool.

I've conquered all my musical goals so far, so now it's time to create new ones, like I mentioned above.


NOW...THE FU STUFF


**If I think you're nice/cute/sweet I will say so, no matter what the age. That doesn't mean I will be stalking, pervving, asking to marry or wanting to jump you. I've been around the block a lot more than these online desperados.
**I do go out of my way to do family adds. Just ask and I'll be on it. But please tell me when you leveled so I can make room for the next one that needs the help.
**I do rate and like women and guys. Guys, it's just for the points...get over it..it's ok to have guy friends without being gay.
**GUYS...don't bother telling me that I can't talk to your fuwife. Get real. Plus if I wanted her that bad you would have been kicked to the curb already. It's happened...SO....hush yourself
**One thing that's been happening Folks asking to be friends that say they are female but are actually guys in drag. Listen, I have no issue if that's your thing. I DO have issue if you say you are a woman and you're not. And vice versa. To me, that's false advertising. And don't give me the homophobe argument. There's folks on here that are trans I have friended, they are up front with it. It takes a lot of guts to go through what they've gone through. Plus in real life I have close friends that are gay.

Don't go thinking you'll friend me up as if you are going to be in some musician fraternity if you're claim to fame is being a fubar DJ. If that was the case my mom was a DJ blasting Tom Jones albums. I'm not talking about rappers that come up with their own material. I mean the ones that use other artists stuff. You can shut up. Not musicians. I play my own or write my parts to others' originals. I've worked 50 years on my craft and it's an insult when you think that YOU are a musician. You're not. So get over yourself. Same goes for you computer generated folks. Your laptop doesn't have groove or soul. I'll listen to anything and pass judgement after I hear it.

Being that I'm from the Philly/NJ area, I'm sarcastic and blunt. I'll tell you exactly what I think at all times. I don't deal in drama very well, folks that have tried to get me involved in theirs have been excused and unhappy. I can be nice, been nice most of my life. I just kill off nonsense quick and clean. I've gone as far as being homeless so I didn't have to hear blathering from a drunk in real life. It wasn't pleasant, but it sure was quiet. If you have a real problem and need an ear, I'll be there.
