Go figure, do you think Dickens knew anything about Africa when he wrote the opening for A Tale of Two Cities?Well I know - I grew up there, in the place they call Zimbabwe or the house of the chief. Seems to me a better name would have been the land of the patient people Anyway here are some pics. Finally, after a few years of fighting with people I loved for something I didn't believe in and well before it was over, I took a trip to London where I stayed for the next 15 years. Who doesn't know the sites of London? Okay, these are for you to go next to the rock paintings. Finally in 1994 I saw the marvel of South Africa unfolding and realised my soul was still in Africa. Almost half a lifetime of experiencing the extremes of misery and miracle that a people are capable of bestowing on themselves.Does this make me a lostCherry or what? But hey, the payback is 10 years - and still counting - in the most wonderful place on earth and if you don't believe me, looky here. For the rest of me, I am what I am, an Aries man, not the loud one, the other one. If you want I can tell you this- I'm honest and I can't even think of being devious because I'll get caught every time- I do everything like it's the first time and the last time- I have to burn my fingers myself to learn any worthwhile lessons- I completely avoid negative people, they destroy me- I despise injustice, prejudice, racism and bigotry- I'm not an axe murderer (ops pls note) but I could fancy myself as a dragon slayer.Okay, you don't need to hear it from me, if you want you could take a look at these links, they're close:http://mizian.com.ne.kr/englishwiz/library/names/zodiac/aries.htm#_Toc6671969http://www.chartplanet.com/html/Aries.htmlhttp://www.ivillage.co.uk/relationships/dating/men/articles/0,,139_572742-2,00.htmlThat's about it for about me, if I think of anything else I'll add it..later

Interests
..goes without saying, I'm into meeting and chatting online, it's an exciting opportunity to get to know people I would never come into contact in any other way...scary thought..
..cad/interior design/architecture - just as well I'm crazy about it coz it's how I earn a living..
..technology, I love all the toys, but it's moving so fast, how does anyone keep up with it any more..
..and don't get me wrong, I don't spend ALL my time in a basement - I'm outta there whenever - to sleep under the stars (okay, canvas if it rains), walk in the mountains, canoe, ride, spend time on a game farm..and a couple of times a year a bit further afield to laze on a beach in between bouts of body surfing but damn I get tired fighting the surf these days..
..I love taking spontaneous road trips, it's a great way to see the country besides which I get uninterrupted time for my music ..
..and if I need a bit of extra intellectual masturbation, I just try to figure out who's screwing who on the political front this week..

Nelson Mandela - one of those very rare people who epitomise the goodness of the human quality, as too his hero, Mahatma Ghandi. What a different world if all leaders were like this.
