You might call me a nerd, but I prefer the term "intellectual badass." I've been described as "fun-in-a-box." I enjoy adventure just as much as sitting around and discussing deep profound stuff. Yes, "stuff." I am a city-boy through and through, which means while I can and have enjoyed camping, I have a healthy respect for nature. And by that I mean I'm convinced nature hates me and is out to get me. Just watch the movie 'Grizzly Man' and you'll see what I mean. It's all fun and s'mores until a bear eats your face.
Ok, I feel like I should clarify the above statement since it makes me sound a little too anti-nature. I can and will commune the F out of some nature. I lived in Santa Cruz for about ten years, and spent a great deal of time on secluded beaches. I can surf, water ski, and spend the day making sand castles. I have been bitten by a Shark off the coast of Catalina Island. It was a small shark, but still......when you see shark mouth coming at you, it looks big. Trust me on this one. I used to go camping and rock climbing in Yosemite with my father every Summer. So, with all that being said, the idea of hiking through a rainforest, or splashing through the surf is not one I would ever turn down, I would just prefer to retire to my nice comfy hotel for a good dinner and a warm bed afterwards. Oh, and a shower. Showers are good.
I think I may be coming off as a great deal more normal than I really am. Yes, I have tattoos. Lots. I used to be a punk/goth/rockabilly/rudeboy. Not all at once. What would that even be? A punkabillygothboy?
I am addicted to mass media. Movies, Netflix, books, etc. I love to talk, sort of helps in my chosen career, but I'm also a darn fine listener. I might add more to this later, but it would be more fun to get to know each other through actual conversation. I'm painfully honest. If there's something you want to know just ask.
