*sigh* there's just no pleasing some people.
Music
if there's a hint of actual real instruments being played, I'll give it a chance.
The same goes for the lyrics. If it looks like they put at least ten minutes of effort into them, I'll listen at least once.
Can't stand rap. Never got into it. Hurts the ears.
Movies
Lots of british comedies, Harrison Ford movies, baseball movies, (Field of Dreams is Kevin Kostner's only good movie, IMHO).
Watership Down is an old favorite, and I love Lilo and Stitch. (blue is my favorite color). But before you think that I've handed over my testicles, I think most horror movies are hilarious (not scary at all), and things like Army of Darkness are classic.
Then there's anything by the Zucker brothers (Airplane, Top Secret, etc...) Lots of MST3K. And the new Doctor Who isn't half bad.
Oh, and the Toby McGuire Spidey movies are good too. So was Office Sapce.
That's probably the tip of the iceberg.
Idols
Billy Idol, Eric Idle... damn.. okay, so there aren't that many people who have the last name of 'Idol'.
Actually, I like Eric Idle a lot (and the whole cast of Monty Python.) But I'm more of a Rowan Atkinson kind of guy. Especially Blackadder. If you haven't seen it.. you're missing out!
