Powerlifting/Weightlifting-member of the ADFPF(American Drug Free Powerlifting Federation)
Photography-I love all kinds of photography. I took photos at my friends wedding which some will be up here soon. I do mostly nature/landscape but I am looking to branch out into portraiture, wedding, and other forms.
Reading-I love historical fiction mostly but will read whatever looks interesting. Some of my favorite authors are Micheal Curtiss Ford:historical fiction set in ancient Greek/Roman times. Anne Bishop and Carol Berg:fantasy. Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child:mystery/suspense w/ a little supernatural elements thrown in.
TV/Movies-I love the Simpsons, Futurama, 24, Prison Break, Lost, The Office, and many more.
Traveling-I love to just drive with no place in mind. I love the outdoors. I have been all over the U.S. I love to visit the U.P.(for those of you who don't live in michigan thats the upper peninsula). When I was in the Marines I trained on Vieques island, and also visited Puerto Rico, Spain(Rota, Cartagena, and Palma in the mallorca isles), France(Toulonne and Belleau woods), Italy(Brindisi, Tarento, and trained on Sardinia), Malta, trained in Tunisia, trained in Croatia, and our platoon was a part of a 12 day show of force/peacekeeping mission in Kosovo as part of KFOR(Kosovo Force)...we participated in 2 daytime raids and one nighttime raid, we then flew out of Macedonia.
Driving Around
Concerts-I love going to concerts. I have seen Hatebreed twice, Skinless twice, Nile, Himsa four times, Danzig, As I Lay Dying twice, and Type O Negative twice.
Outdoors/Nature
Ancient Greek/Roman History-I love this time period...Ceasar, Gladiators, Barbarians, Mythology, Loved the HBO series Rome
German and Slovakian history/mythology-Its my heritage and I enjoy learning about it.
