Art, writing, debate, current issues... all the heavy stuff most people like to complain about then ignore... games, biking, being outdoors in general, mentoring kids, education, reading, research, music...too many interests to list.

Music
I like almost everything, but I'm not fanatical about anything and I'm picky about my favorites....neo-soul, r&b, motown, hip-hop, heavy metal, alternative... whatever. The only exceptions would be hard-core rap, most country and anything that I can't understand the lyrics to no matter how catchy the tune is, that's just annoying.
Movies
Hmmm...books are so much easier, but I'll try... Green Mile, Pursuit of Happyness, Happy Feet, Stigmata, Constantine (it's hilarious), DiVinci Code, Lord of the Rings, the Others, Sixth Sense... a bunch more I can't think of right now and foreign films like Amelie, Kadosh and yet another bunch I can't recall the titles for right now...
Idols
I don't believe in idolizing people...but there are a few I have a great deal of respect for...Maya Angelou, Oprah, Jill Scott, Maxwell, Bill Cosby, the Clintons...you don't really expect me to list them all, do you?
Video Games
senseless violence: aliens, zombies, guns, blood - Whatever! I hate adventure games...too slow. I'm also a puzzle nerd.
