I leave my computer on most of the time, so I'm not always watching the minute I get a message here on fu. I don't type much, or leave profile comments, but I usually push the buttons....like, rate, fan, etc. I usually stop in here at fu in the morning, and de-stress/un-wind, after working all night at the hospital.

I am a night shift hospital Medical/Surgical charge nurse. I work 12-14hr shifts keeping people alive, and trying to get them well enough to return to their homes & families.

Old classic rock - major 'Beatles' fan, Boston, Styx, Chicago, Doubie Brothers, Billy Joel, Elton John, Aerosmith, Cheap Trick, Pink Floyd, CCR, Bob Marley, Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffett....to name a few.

Grew-up playing classical music (violin, cello, bass, viola, recorder) - so enjoy baroque & classical music as well.

I also like older jazz on occasion.

Not a fan of country, opera, Rap, or piano solos.
Movies
I like stories....I read quite a lot, and watch movies mostly....not a fan of commercial TV. I'll watch almost any movie once....even romantic comedy...lol. There have only been a few movies...soooo dumb, and low budget, that I've had to turn them off.

I'm a guy....so I like action & adventure movies, & war movies. I'm a child of the 60's & 70's, and used to stay-up to watch the "Late, Late, Late" shows as often as I could. Needless to say I watched a lot of the old Bassel Rathbone Sherlock Holmes movies, Charlie Chan detective movies, and the old Hammer films horror flicks.
Idols
My 2nd year Nursing school instructor "Barb", my Dad, John Wayne, Ronald Reagan, & Audie Murphy. Real Men.

    afnar RN Back in town after a quick trip to Vegas. The 1st mate took a 3rd place bronze medal in sparring at the North American Open International Karate Tournament. Needless to say, I'm quite proud of him. He is almost a black belt. Another fantastic father/son bonding road trip.
