I hate these about me boxes. So many sites have them, and, maybe it's just me, but I always feel the need to write something fresh and new for each one, rather than copying and pasting the same info over and over. K, since I'm anal, and these gigantic empty white spaces will bug the shit out of me till I put something in them, here goes...
I'm a guy, obviously. I live in South Florida, on the East coast. I'm 32, so they tell me, though I feel like I'm about 20. When folks guess my age, they usually say around 25, so I'm wondering if my parents lied to me. I co-own and coordinate business for a web design studio. I eat crappy, barely get any exercise, smoke way too much, and leave the house a lot less than I should. Fairly typical bachelor existence, I suppose. At least I don't have to worry about getting fat from sitting on my ass most of the time, since, for a variety of reasons, I'm completely incapable of gaining or keeping any substantial weight (which is just as frustrating as gaining weight and not being able to lose it, let me tell you).
Suppose I should save some for the remaining giant empty white spaces, so moving on...

Interests
As mentioned, I leave the house fairly infrequently and barely get any exercise. The reason behind that is I spend the vast majority of my time on my computer. I'm a hopelessly obsessive gamer, with tastes including RTSs, RPGs, MMORPGs, Action, Adventure, etc, as well as other genres. I call myself a writer, as well, though, as with exercise, I don't write nearly as much as I'd like to. Similarly with reading, which I love, but find the computer mysteriously absorbs the hours in the day, and by the time I settle down with a book, it's time to go to sleep. I love to cook and am an excellent one, I'm not ashamed to say. One of my favorite things is to cook awesome meals for other folks, though I don't get the opportunity to do that as much as I'd like.
If I did get around to going out more, I'd spend a lot more time on the beach, which is about 10 minutes away. I live in a small, ocean-side town that has a relaxed feel to it, and I'd like to start spending more time out and about in it, as well. One of these days, lol...

Metal/Rock - Machine Head, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Otep, Mushroomhead, Chevelle, assorted bands from the late 90s, early 2000s
Orchestral - Hans Zimmer, John Murphy, Nick Cave & Warren Ellis, etc

Classic Rock - Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, etc
Assorted other groups not easily included into any particular style or genre - NIN, Tori Amos, Linkin Park, Our Lady Peace, Type O Negative, Pucifer, etc, etc
Movies
I love too many movies to list out, so will list directors instead.
Directors - Ridley Scott, Darren Aronofsky, Christopher Nolan (was a fan *before* Batman Begins, tyvm), Peter Jackson, Terrence Mallick, Danny Boyle, etc.
Anything those guys in particular have made, the odds are good I'll love it.
Idols
The only idol I have is myself. Egotistical, you might say? Not if you knew me...
Video Games
At the moment, I'm primarily playing WWII Online: Battleground Europe, which is a unique combination of MMO, FPS, and RTS. It's quite unlike any game I've ever played. I've spent years playing WoW, as well, though am on a break at the moment. I have Starcraft 2 on my computer at the moment, and am waiting very much impatiently for Heart of the Swarm. I'm a huge fan of the Total War series. Just finished playing through TES: Oblivion recently and am drooling while waiting for Skyrim. Looking forward to Star Wars: The Old Republic, as well. Other games I have on my computer at the moment include Amnesia, Limbo (amazing game), Batman: Arkham Asylum, Civ 5, League of Legends, Team Fortress 2 and BF:BC2, etc.
