I respect everyones' right to be different, whether it is because of cultural or personal norms.

I strive everyday to live and have no regrets.
I have no respect for people who dance all night and cry when it is time to pay the piper
I try to be politically involved, I believe in the power of my one vote.
I hold a proven friend close to my heart.
And truely believe that blood is not always thicker than water.

Interests
music is my first love, I love music, dislike none. Books are wonderful and browsing is an art form. I love stimulating discussions and do most of the womanly things very well. Knitting, crochet, needlepoint are a few of my hobbies. I was once a racing fanatic until I saw one too many accident on the circuit. I love football, soccer and will even go to the occasional game of baseball ( when my friends kidnap me )
Most of the "manly interests" I learned to like when I was married to a sports fanatic, there was no sport that he disliked. I quickly learned that being a "sports widow" wasn't my thing and that if you cannot beat them then join them.
