I was born on September 11th 1959. I am single. 47 reside in Woodstock, VA. I am living at home helping with my father. He is dying of alzheiners and demencia. He has liver failure now. My Mother had a stoke back in May of last year. I has affected in different ways. I fel they have raised me and watched over me all these years, it is about time I return the honor. My father was employed by NASA for many years. He was responsible for the writing of the programs for the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions. I could sit here and tell you all te Atronauts I have met, and which one that I can barely remember being at my house in Florida. I can also tell you that I stood in my front yard and watch the rocket Launches. But that is something that no one will believe, but cann say it was the food and water on my table every night. If I could relive anything in my life it would be the Space program. I worked at the Pebtagon when Challenger blew up. Though I knew none of the 7 it has been burned into my blood. I would be lying if I didn't break down. I DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On 9-11 I watched as we were attacked. That will be a day that will liveforever in my mind. I found out two months later that a girls I went to school with was in the second tower and jumped from the 77th floor to her death. I moved to Texas the year after Kennedy was assasinated. I almost perished due to heat exhaustion in Dallas at Dealey Plaza. I have been to the LBJ ranch in Texas, and had the Honor of meeting the President. Moving to Maryland in 1972, We went to Arlington Naational Cemetary to lay 12 yellow roses at John Kennedy's grave. We were escorted to the grave by Capital Police becaue they thought we were Family. LOLOLOL I will never forget the experiencees of my life. I work at the Pentagon for three years and have to places that some have never been. but where the plane hit on 9-11 is whee my office happend to be. I amvery proud of what I have seen in my 47 years, and if the Lord were to take me today I can honestly say I lived my life and did it my waywww.crosscut.net
