My real name is Kimberly, but I assumed K K when I became an Aunt. I am a kind, loyal, honest, and loving person. I have a great love for children, they are the greatest and most precious gift from God. Not many people know this about me so I guess I will share it now. I was born with Spinal Bifida. It is a birth defect caused from lack of folic acid when the mother is pregnant. A tumor forms on the spinal cord and blocks nerves from going to the right places, or so this is what has happened in my case. Due to the nerve damage from my tumor that was removed when I was 9 months, I developed a club foot and have had multiple surgeries to maintain the use of my foot. But please don't feel sorry, I have been blessed very much in my life and I know for a fact that I would not be the person I am today if I had been born differently. I don't believe I would have the understanding, patients, love, and empathy, for others. I don't mind people asking questions about my Spinal Bifida. I would rather answer questions everyday then for people to stare and not understand.


I have been know to have too much of a big heart. It tends to let people take advantage, but I'm learning where I draw the line now. I've been divorced now for almost 5 years. Out of the goodness of my heart I opened my home to a young girl that had gotten thrown out of her mom's house, and 3 months later my husband ran off with her. The one thing I have learned is that even though its hard, sometimes you have to let go. It doesn't mean that you've given up, it's just letting go. I believe I have become a much stronger person since my divorce. I have decided to take a break from the relationship and dating thing for a while, and just focus on me. However,I am learning to trust and willing to try to open my heart up again. I actually liked being married. It's sad that some people don't value marriage anymore, their vows, and what they stand for. It's to easy for someone to say "I want a divorce.", and walk away from their responsibilities to their spouse, children and to God.


I am looking forward to a new adventure to my life, and I am going to make it a point to find what makes me happy. I have a wonderful family that is my support system. My older brother is Kevin. He can be hard sometimes, but you don't mess with his family, that's for sure. I learned a lot about him when Tommy (my ex husband) left. He doesn't always show how much he cares but like I said, you don't mess with his family. He's the best big brother I could ever ask for and I love him very much. My sister is my best friend. We are as close as two people can be. Family is one of the most important things to me. I am a very active aunt to my 2 nephews. They are a huge part of my life and very important to me. There's nothing like a sloppy kiss goodnight, wanting sometimes you when their hurt, or just rollin around on the floor playing. My oldest nephew cracks me up with his version of "break dancing", and knows more about sports than anyone I know. He is truly amazing and a wonderful kid. My youngest nephew.....there's nothing like having a one year old hold both sides of your face, touching his nose to yours and laugh. I love his laugh. My brother in law and sister gave me the greatest Christmas gift 12-12-06 they wanted me to be there to see Caleb come into the world. It was the greatest experience I have ever been apart of. I come from a huge and very close family of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins that I love each and everyone dearly.

I also have a big group of wonderful friends, that have and continue to stand by my side. They have been there for me through some of the hardest times in my life, and I know I can always count on them. I couldn't ask for better friends. I am truly blessed.

I am in the process of deciding on what to do with my life. I hope to go back to school for Photography. My sister and I have started our project with Discovery Toys.
