    Which version of IE do you have? 6 or 7? And what version of windows? And do you have your operating system disc? This will all make sense soon lol. You could try running system file checker, but if you have some missing or corrupt files on your pc that's stopping IE from working properly, it's going to ask for your operating system disc to fix it. If you habe IE 7, and your pc originally came with IE6, you can uninstall IE 7 and it will roll back to IE 6.

    Theres an add on you can use with Firefox called IE Tab. You can use Firefox, but pick some sites to open as they would if you were using IE. I dunno if that will help or not, I don't play games and stuff online so I don't have issues with my Firefox- but you could give that a try.
