I am a martial artist first and foremost. It's what keeps me from going overboard with all the fun I have from day to day. I gotta have some source of discipline to keep myself in line somewhat. I play guitar and I also like to sketch drawings and once in a blue moon I also enjoy painting and sculpting from clay. I enjoy singing karaoke and I also like to dance. I used to dance for a living at one time marking the start of my dance career at La Bare in Houston in the late 90s when it used to be located at Richmond and Hillcroft. I've managed to make my way doing a few traveling gigs throughout Texas and the South and even landed a tour with the Cast of Playgirl Magazine which was very memorable. I put my dance boots up on the shelf and folded my costumes towards the end of 2005 and have been spending more time going back to teaching and training in one of the world's most reputedly effective and deadliest of martial combatives known generically through the terms, "Arnis", "Kali" or "Escrima" from the Philippine Islands. I am also certified to teach more than a handful of other martial arts systems, but I find the Filipino Martial Arts to be above and beyond, my favorite. Throughout the years 2005 to late 2006, I have been living in Fayetteville, North Carolina teaching my craft at a small martial arts club located on Yadkin road just down the street from Ft Bragg and the 82nd Airborne where my student body consisted of military personnel of various ranks and units from regular infantry, riggers, to Special Forces groups. In November 2006 I moved back to Houston TX to start over fresh and new and to reacquaint with alot of old friends I have not seen in a long time.
