It was definitely time to update this section. I am no longer a furniture finisher anymore. I had moved to Louisiana back in May of this past year for a few reasons. One reason was to be with my ex fiance and another reason was for an opportunity to start my own finishing business down there.

Neither worked out so I moved back up here to southern New Hampshire this past September. It was definitely for the best let me tell you. The ex was able to hide the fact she was a total nut case between our time we managed to spend getting to know each other and actually living together and then it definitely came out.

On the note of the finishing business down there I can safely say Louisiana is definitely a good old boys network. Being a northerner down there even when I could bring a better price and final product to the client or contractor they wanted to send their business the way of the Louisianans. I had found a contractor who claimed he wanted to send a lot of work my way as long as I worked for this guy down there for a while. This guy was a friend of his and they both thought they could pull the wool over my eyes. Guess inbreeding brings about stupidity where I called them on it and they tried to deny it and act like I was paranoid.

Sure enough I caught them trying to screw me right in the act and decided after the nut case ex and the screw job they tried to pull on me it was time to go back north to an area I actually liked to be in.

Now it was time for a new profession. I decided it was time after coming back up here to the shops I had worked at telling me they wanted me back but wouldn't even pay me what I was making before I left. Now I work for Group 1 Auto which owns a large number of dealerships in the US and abroad.

What my job entails is basically setting up appointments for individuals to go to the dealership to look at for purchase or lease a car along the eastern seaboard including a couple other states.
