I'll get this one out of the way - technically I'm what at least at one point was known as "straight edge", only without the preaching and insanely violent behavior. Every one I ever knew was a murderer in the making, although I'm sure there's good ones out there. Writing music, I have (at the moment) 4 instruments plus an electronic drum set, along with a Line 6 UX2 unit that makes recording nice and easy. I love to read, mostly fantasy and sci-fi books. I read at a ferocious rate, so books don't last that long. Thankfully I like to re-read the really good ones. I love to craft, both in wood and metal, but I'm better with metal oddly enough! I enjoy making almost anything, I recently made a table for my apartment and I'm in the process of setting up a small workshop for myself. Creating something from raw materials is awesome, both the process and the end result. If I need something, I can just make the damn thing! As is typical of a male, I'm really into anything with wheels and an engine. I have a very nice motorcycle and recently bought a project vehicle, and my daily driver gets a little attention from time to time. Ultimately I want to build my own car or bike - realistically I'll just do both! There's more to me, but I can't give it all away.

In no particular order! Fear Factory - the one exception - this is overall my favorite band! Tool, Bury Your Dead, Otep, Walls of Jerico, Nevermore, Pantera, One Way Mirror, Soilwork, Deftones, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Sub Dub Micromachine, Lamb of God, Hatebreed, Slipknot, Stabbing Westward, White Zombie, Stone Sour, Skinlab, Sevendust, Machine Head, System of a Down, I'm quite sure I'm leaving some out but you get the idea. Tunes I really enjoy that most people wouldn't guess... Sarah McLachlan - I'm sorry, but you HAVE to at least respect the talent, "World of Fire" is a great song! RUSH - It's good and their concerts are INSANELY AWESOME!!! BB King - No explanation required. Tower of Power - Some seriously good funk with often very funny lyrics, and how can you resist the song title "Spank a Dank"? I'm sure there's others, but as has prolly become obvious, I listen to a lot of music.
