I pray that some day
I shall see my self worth
Until I am no longer
A soul on this earth
I pray that one day
I will finally be able to see
That no one is capable of loving
Myself the way that I can love me
I send up a prayer
That as light fades away to the night
And each day is renewed
That I shall see myself in a new light
I pray that as I grow older in years
I can be forgiven the things that I have done since birth
I pray that I can learn to love myself with all of my faults
